Need a concentrated boost from your cannabis? Trying dabbing.
The most common way to dab is by preheating the nail, though many people enjoy the cold dabbing process as well. Cold dabbing helps preserve some of the terpene flavors that can be lost when dabbing at high temps.
People typically dab at temperatures between 545 to 570 F. Higher temperature dabs will give off more THC, while lower temperature dabs will give off more flavor.
Whether you do it hot or cold, dabbing is an out-of-this-world high experience.
Hot Dabbing
Step 1: Aim your torch’s flame at the bottom of your nail. Turn it off when your nail is hot.
Step 2: If you have a titanium nail, let it cool for 10 seconds. If you have a quartz nail, let it cool
for 45 seconds to a minute.
Step 3: Scoop up your concentrate or “dabs” with your dab tool and let it melt off onto the nail.
Step 4: Begin to inhale, regulating air flow by covering and uncovering the nail with carb cap.
Cold Dabbing
Step 1: Clean your nail, making sure there is no leftover residue from previous dabs.
Step 2. Scoop up your dabs and add it to the nail.
Step 3: Put a carb cap over the nail.
Step 4: Point your torch’s flame at the bottom of the nail. When your dabs begin to bubble, turn off your torch.
Step 5: Begin to inhale the vapor while rotating the carb cap to control airflow.
